Jaye Allison MFA Founding Director of New LEJA Dances the co., Philly TAP Challenge Tap Festival, JADA DanceTap Ensemble, celebrates her 30+ years in the performing arts world as an independent black female dance artist and is a member of the 2ndGeneration Silver Belles. Performing credits include: directorial debut of Stephanie Mills The Gate Called Straight, and Lady Hoofers Too Darn Hot. Original musical choreographic credits include: Theresa Rebeck’s The Understudy by The Wilma Theater, Rebecca Irwin-Deihl’s GIANTS and LEJA’s I AM and Carols In Color. She has danced professionally with Marc/Charles Dancers, Power 99FM Dancers, Philadelphia Civic Ballet Company (also Director for the school shows), TapTeam II & Co. and Dancefusion; graduate of Phila. H. S. for the Creative and Performing Arts, attended the University of the Arts and received an Arts Management Certificate from University of MA Amhearst,  via internship at the PA Council on the Arts, gained her BFA/ MFA from Ashwood U.  Recipient of grants from: Dance Advance – Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, Leeway Foundation and Pa. Council on the Arts to name a few. Earned recognition as a Phillyist, and Rocky Awardee; She also appeared in movies, “Beloved”, “Rocky III”, and several ol’ skool music videos. Jaye currently trains students at the Gwendolyn Bye Dance Center, Motion-N-Dance, Arabesque School of Dance & Modeling (NJ). Ms. Allison ministers in dance at New Covenant Church of  Philadelphia.

Reggie TapMan Myers has been dancing for A little over twenty years. He has been raised in a dance
school since he was a little boy. Reggie Is a hip hop and master Tap dancer. He has been teaching dance for 10 years and has studied under many artist such as, Jason Samuels-Smith, Chloe Arnold, Dormeshia Sumbrey-Edwards, Jaye Allison, Robert Burden, Rennie Harris, Mr. Wiggles and a host of many other dancers. TapMan has opened shows for singer Mya. He is from NJ and currently lives in New York City. He teaches Hip Hop classes every Friday night downtown Manhattan. Reggie is busy working on many projects to keep Dance alive. You can and will always find him moving, even when the music is off. Reggie is certainly making a name for himself and continuing to dance into the hearts of many. His specialty is tap. He can tap dance forever. Check him out in the Big Apple. You never know he may make a stop in your neighborhood.
